Thankful | Show poster for the Black Live Music Fund
This poster was commissioned by Jonathan “Chaka” Mahone, founder of the Black Live Music Fund and the DAWA fund. Both charities provide essential support for Austin musicians and artists. I donated sales of 2020’s Inktober art to the DAWA fund, and Chaka contacted me to do the poster for this event. COVID did its best to stop the show, but Chaka is a force of nature. With some nimble moves, the show adapted and appeared online in February 2021, and was flat-out amazing.
